a friend of mine is probably putting on a contest at calshot in may cos they,ve offered them a good deal. need to know what rails and that are there at the moment. havn,t been there for ages but heard that everyone has started to ride back there now. apparantly already got all the sponsers sorted for a series of comps, most around the m25 but therss gonna be one in thesouth.
sherman, how much did you charge peeps to ride at your contest and how much did calshot tax you for when you hired it out
When we had the comp at bassett they didn't charge us for the day cause it would have normally been closed, but we had to pay for the staff which was 200squid and an octopus!
We charged 15squid and a jellyfish to enter but everyone got a goodie bag with well over 25squid and a crabs worth of stuff in it.
If this doesn't make sense it's cause I got ****ed out of my head last nite and it still isn't right!
yeah not too shabby mate cheers for the info, will be back riding in bout a month which is good news cos not riding for 15months ****ed me off a right treat. gonna ride at least twice a week over summer to get back into it.
apparantly this contest got the official go ahead today. me freind whos organising got at least 20 sponsers on board already and more coming apparnatly. the contest gonna mainly be about promoting girls competing as loads def down to ride already from tam, welwyn, and castleford apparantly and there gonna be a mens jib jam going on too. organisers off to whistler this week eben though theres no snow so i gotta sort stuff out for it. details will follow shortly. apparantly most stuff like the djs and people mc ing the contest sorted tjough.
have fun in France. will be there next year. no broken bones will stop me for a third yaer ina row.
just me stupid collar bone, finally had the plates taken out bout 4 weeks ago after numerous opertation cancelations and **** ups. when they take plates out the screws leave holes in the bone so you have to give it a while apparantly cos if you fall on it it will crack join the dots style along the bone. doctor said leave sports for 2-3 months but i'm gonna start ridin again in bout 4 weeks.
