Here is a list that, hopefully, shows the differnces in our diminutive friends, this may put a stop to any confusion and/or offence being taken but the little devils!

Dwarf
(n.) An animal or plant which is much below the ordinary size of its species or kind; especially, a diminutive human being.

Elf
1. An imaginary supernatural being, commonly a little sprite,
much like a fairy; a mythological diminutive spirit,
supposed to haunt hills and wild places, and generally
represented as delighting in mischievous tricks.

Fairy
1.(n.) An imaginary supernatural being or spirit, supposed to assume a human form (usually diminutive), either male or female, and to meddle for good or evil in the affairs of mankind.

2. A Gaylord.

Goblin
(n.) An evil or mischievous spirit; a playful or malicious elf; a frightful phantom; a gnome.

Dear Mr Baines, in my many years of offering advice, I have often felt the need for a couple of philipino's to change the tv or do the washing up. But I would most like to see them do things at great height. Obviously I would train them myself, start them off changing light bulbs and decorating my beautiful house. Then slowly move them up a bit, get them used to ladders and soon enough they could clean my gutters and fix tv aerials. I have often wondered, if I were to get four, I could start my own tv aerial installer service and get my philipino's to work for me. Also earning me money. That would be nice, after a couple of months I could expand, get a couple more. Have a turfwar with a rival tv aerial installer which would include a advert campaign critising the other company. I could use the slogan "If you want good receptiono, hire one of my philipino's!!!" Within a couple of years I would have them all over the country, leeds, glasgow, cornwall. But not Wales, the sheep would scare them. And before long I could take over the government with my army of philipino tv aerial installers!

I have a couple of quick questions for you though, is it necessary to keep them in a cupboard or in a garage, would they survive if chained up outside? I have an old dog house they could have?
